Terms & Conditions

Welcome to AAM, a marketplace owned and operated by Chickii Inc. ("Chickii," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AAM mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account, buying, or selling through AAM, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your province) to use AAM.

By registering, you confirm you have the legal right to buy or sell goods in Canada.

2. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful registration details.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Be responsible for all activity on your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Marketplace Rules

AAM is a platform connecting buyers and sellers of South Asian bridalwear and formalwear.

  • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, and timely fulfillment.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
  • Chickii is not the seller of any items and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Sellers authorize Chickii and Stripe to deduct any service or processing fees disclosed prior to listing.
  • Sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes.

5. Disputes and Refunds

  • Buyers must raise disputes through AAM's Resolution Center within the timeframe stated in the app.
  • Chickii may facilitate dispute resolution but is not liable for enforcing refunds beyond our platform rules unless required by law.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • List illegal, counterfeit, or stolen items.
  • Use the App for fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • Circumvent fees by conducting off-platform transactions initiated via AAM.

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Limitation of Liability

AAM is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Chickii is not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or disputes arising from transactions between users.
  • Our total liability will not exceed the total fees you paid (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, software, and content in AAM are owned by Chickii or its licensors and cannot be copied or reused without permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of AAM is also governed by the AAM Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or for activity harmful to other users or the platform.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AAM after updates constitutes acceptance.
